Scottish family butchers Yorkes of Dundee will be offering visitors to the Food and Drink Hall at the Royal Highland Show an opportunity to purchase beef from Balmoral.
Yorkes recently bought five Highland cattle from the Royal fold on Deeside and the beef has been maturing in time for the show.
On offer will be a full range of cuts including fillet, sirloins, rib eye, topside and roasting joints, packaged in special presentation boxes bearing the inscription – Royal beef from Yorkes of Dundee.
It’s the third year the firm has exhibited at the Royal Highland Show. Their stand will include cutting demonstrations and displays of new season lamb, all purchased at Forfar market from local farms in Angus.
Yorkes is one of nearly 90 companies exhibiting in the Food and Drink Hall, one of the top attractions at the show where visitors can sample and buy some of the best produce from Scotland and hand picked suppliers from the rest of the UK. The Hall also features the Scottish Food and Drink Cookery Theatre
