Celebrating 225 Years in 2009

The Society was established in 1784, making it 225 years old in 2009.  A fine achievement for any organisation!

It is only with the support and goodwill of its some 14,000 members that the Society continues to go from strength to strength, even in these challenging times.  

To celebrate and help mark this special occasion a special gala supper and ceilidh will be held for members in the springtime here at Ingliston. This will be part sponsored by the Society to ensure the evening is reasonably priced and enjoyable for all.
